"Like many testimonies, I needed to be lost to be saved. I lost myself during my first year at The Citadel. It was ultimately for the better. I know that I will always be a sinner and am not worthy of even a thought in God’s mind, but His everlasting love for me and for all of us burns so bright that I am saved. I know that He does not hate me but instead my sin. Today, I can confidently say that the King of Kings is my Lord and Savior and that I desire to spend eternity with God in my life and after death."

"Coming into college, I was searching for peach and joy but I was left unsatisfied. When I was walking in Cougar Mall, I met two amazing girls who invited me to a Bible study. I had no intention of going, but did. I came to a better understanding that Jesus is always there for me. I went to Winter Retreat and started to feel the weight of my sin. I accepted Christ because I wanted to be forgiven and to feel the joy that He gives. Now, I have that joy and peace in my heart. I’m reading more of His Word and learning more about Jesus. "

"When I was in high school, I didn’t know who was out there just yet. It wasn’t until I made it to college that I was able to grow in my faith through Campus Outreach, especially with Eric Burnett. He helped me learn that throughout my life the signs I was searching for had been there. During my freshman year, I prayed and accepted Jesus as my Savior."
