Position Summary
The Finance Associate will be responsible for providing financial support services for the day-to-day transactions of the church, school, and all related ministries of East Cooper Baptist Church as directed. This position will primarily support the Finance Team and will be cross-trained on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Crosstrain and assist in Accounts Payable to include the actual printing and delivery of checks
  • Monitoring and maintaining credit card purchases
  • Gather documentation for and record online bank deposits
  • Maintain accurate Positive Pay records in Truist bank account
  • Cross-train in all aspects of Accounts Receivable to include contributions, incoming funds and tuition receivable

  • Prepare for and cooperate with the independent auditor as information is requested during the annual audit period
  • Maintain confidentiality with all financial information

Position Summary 
The High School Ministry Associate will help lead the High School Ministry by assisting leadership, staff, and volunteers in a variety of ways. The position is split between administrative responsibilities and a personal ministry with students. The primary administrative responsibilities are event and retreat planning, oversight of the ministry’s finances, and communication to leaders, students, and parents. The associate’s personal ministry will be to high school girls and high school leaders and will involve relationship building, evangelism, and discipleship.

Works directly with the High School Pastor/Director, other staff members, adult Sunday leaders, Sunday Night Live and high school connect groups and student life groups.

Position Description
The ECBC Nursery Department desires to hire Nursery Caregivers to help with various day and evening ministry events. Position Summary
East Cooper Baptist’s pastoral residency provides a unique opportunity for prospective pastors to gain supervised ministry experience and seminary credit in a full-time, local church setting.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Residents will serve in a variety of ministerial and administrative capacities under the supervision of ECBC’s pastoral staff.
  • Residents will participate in a weekly preaching lab, where they will give live teaching, receive immediate feedback, and study the essentials of teaching and preaching in a practical format.
  • Residents will complete a variety of specific pastoral experiences, such as hospital visitation, preaching and teaching, and discipleship of church members.
  • Residents will take in person classes on pastoral ministry and preaching hosted at
    ECBC with the option for seminary credit.
  • Position is full time for August-May.

Position Summary
The Private Music Lessons Educators would teach one-on-one lessons for musical instruments or voice based on the teacher’s qualifications and the amount of interest from our ECAA families. Position Summary
The Worship Arts Ministry Associate is involved in a wide range of support responsibilities inside the Worship Arts Ministry, including all administrative needs dealing with the preparation of music and materials needed for all rehearsals and preparation for all Sunday services and special worship events. An important aspect of this role is also to serve as an administrative assistant for the Worship Arts staff (Worship Pastor, Instrumental Director, and Contemporary Worship Director) and all associated ministries, and serve as the first face in all communication to the members of all Worship Arts Ministry Groups and the church at large. Also assists Shepherding Pastor administratively.

Palmetto Christian Academy is seeking a full-time Assistant Athletic Director. The preferred
candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in some form of sports-related study and at least 1 year of experience working with high school athletes. Candidates should feel comfortable working with student athletes in various athletic settings and have a basic knowledge of the sports offered at PCA. Additionally, candidates should be able to organize uniforms, collect payments, communicate with parents, help with scheduling, and perform any other functions to assist the Athletic Director.

Primary Responsibilities (Duties will include but are not limited to):

  • Oversee compliance of coaches with SCISA and PCA certification requirements
  • Work with PCA Executive Assistant to ensure all coaches are on-boarded properly with background checks, MVR checks, and new hire paperwork
  • Work with the PCA trainer to confirm all athletes have current physicals and necessary paperwork updated in Big Teams
  • Schedule scorekeepers, gate workers, officials, etc. for all home games
  • Verify schedules with opponents at the beginning of every season
  • Process officials’ payments for all sports
  • Oversee distribution and return of all PCA athletic uniforms, maintaining an updated
    inventory
  • Maintain athletic master schedule online and make necessary notifications of changes
  • Serve as school representative at athletic events as needed
  • Manage and supervise PCA’s Trident league basketball teams in conjunction with the
    varsity basketball coaches
  • Meet with Athletic Director once each week to discuss upcoming events

    human interest stories arising from the athletic department
  • Ensure that information and pictures from the preceding week’s athletic events is received from coaches by 11am every Monday for publication in the Eagle Vision athletic newsletter

  • Set up and manage seasonal media days (team and individual pictures) and free physical screenings through Roper St. Francis Hospital system

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all fundraising activities (including the calendar, approval process, thank-you process, relationships, and software to manage fundraising).
  • Keep Headmaster informed on a bi-monthly basis of the fundraising activities through call reports.
  • In conjunction with the Headmaster, develop all aspects of a major gifts (capital) campaign.
  • Oversee all alumni relations and develop a plan to increase alumni support of, and

Palmetto Christian Academy is seeking a part-time High School (grades 9-12) Yearbook instructor for the 2025-26 school year. The candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Education, Graphic Design, or English with a minimum of one year of teaching yearbook, graphic design, or similar class in a high school setting. The preferred candidate will possess an ACSI or South Carolina teaching certificate.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Planning, creating, and organizing school yearbook layout.
  • Leading class of high school students to produce school yearbook.
  • Coordinate photography of major PCA events and activities for inclusion in yearbook.
  • Meeting all deadlines, budget, and standards needed to produce excellent product.
  • Work with Upper School Instructional Coach to meet standards of instruction.
  • Perform administrative duties under the direction of the Upper School Principal to include grading, discipline, attendance, dress code management, lunch/hall/dismissal supervision as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Graphic Design, or Education from an accredited university and have a minimum of one year of experience in teaching yearbook, graphic design, or similar to high school students, preferably in a Christian School environment.
  • Be willing to work toward an ACSI teacher certification.
  • Must have a credible profession of faith and testimony, and be actively involved in a local church, as this person will serve as a role model in attitude, speech, and actions for the school community.
  • Must be able to articulate his/her Christian worldview and philosophy of Kingdom
    education
  • Able to implement policy and procedures of the high school department and school.
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must attend faculty meetings, professional development seminars, and devotions.

Position Summary
Palmetto Christian Academy is seeking a full-time Lower School Principal (grades K-5) who can lead the Lower School faculty to teach with a distinctly Biblical worldview integrated throughout the curriculum and instruction. The candidate must possess at least a Master’s degree in education, preferably in Educational Leadership/Administration, and a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience and 2 years in an administrator role.

Organizational Status
This position reports to the Assistant Headmaster/Director of Academics

Primary Responsibilities
The Principal’s duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Working with Administrative team to develop school-wide procedures and policies
  • Working with Administrative team to develop Lower School budget
  • Working with Administrative team to maintain ACSI Accreditation
  • Assisting the Admissions Director in conducting prospective family interviews
  • Working with the Upper School Principal and Academic Counselor to develop class
    schedules
  • Developing and managing Lower School curriculum program with the Lower School
    Instructional Coach and Director of Academics
  • Developing opportunities for faculty professional development
  • Using data analysis to assist in student academic improvement and placement
  • Communicating with students and parents regarding academic and discipline issues
  • Providing ongoing evaluation to faculty members including informal and formal
    assessments to help determine faculty assignments
  • Guiding students to self-governance through redemptive discipline
  • Providing spiritual leadership and growth opportunities to faculty and staff

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Master’s degree in education from an accredited
    university and have a minimum of 5 years of classroom teaching experience and 2 years of administration experience, preferably in a Christian School (Master’s in Ed.
    Leadership/Administration is preferred)

  • Planning, creating and implementing math lessons that promote an engaging, positive aninteractive learning environment
  • Prepare, administer and evaluate tests and classroom assignments following curriculum guidelines
  • Work closely with Upper School Instructional Coach to deliver approved math curriculum
  • Work closely with Upper School Instructional Coach to review textbooks
  • Perform administrative duties under the direction of the Upper School Principal to include grading, discipline, attendance, dress code management, lunch/hall/dismissal supervision

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in math or secondary math education from an
    accredited university. The preferred candidate will possess 1-3 years of experience in
    teaching math to middle and/or high school students, preferably in a Christian School
    environment.
