Position Summary
Oversee the efficiency, accuracy and productivity of the day-to-day activities of the accounting department and provide financial management and guidance for the church as a whole (including Palmetto Christian Academy and Campus Outreach). Present financial statements that provide reasonable assurance that said statements are free of material misstatements and are presented fairly in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (“GAAP”).

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the finance staff to ensure quality control, productivity, accuracy, efficiency, and team cohesiveness.
  • Ensure the consistent application of generally accepted accounting principles in the processing of all types of accounting transactions.
  • Manage the month-end close to ensure that bank reconciliations, postings and journal entries are accurate, timely and appropriate.
  • Ensure that fixed assets are capitalized and depreciated in accordance with church policies; and transactions are posted fairly and appropriately.
  • Manage the preparation and distribution of required tax forms and filings.
  • Ensure donor contribution statements for cash and in-kind donations are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure that adequate evidence is retained, in accordance with requirements, to support the accounting transactions processed.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the independent audit firm in order to execute an efficient and effective audit.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director to produce a timely, balanced budget.
  • Ensure finance policies are up-to-date, accurate and properly documented.

Position Summary 
The High School Ministry Associate will help lead the High School Ministry by assisting leadership, staff, and volunteers in a variety of ways. The position is split between administrative responsibilities and a personal ministry with students. The primary administrative responsibilities are event and retreat planning, oversight of the ministry’s finances, and communication to leaders, students, and parents. The associate’s personal ministry will be to high school girls and high school leaders and will involve relationship building, evangelism, and discipleship. 

Working Relationships 
Works directly with the High School Pastor/Director, other staff members, adult Sunday leaders, Sunday Night Live and high school connect groups and student life groups. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Development of ministry goals and vision 
  • Logistics, scheduling, and administration of ministry events: Sunday morning worship, Sunday Night Live, retreats and trips, and weekly connect groups and student life groups
  • Communication throughout the ministry: preparing and sending of flyers, newsletters, emails, and reminders to staff, students, and parents as needed 
  • Ministry finances: oversight of ministry budget and completion of expenditure and reimbursement forms 
  • Relationship building, evangelism, and spiritual development with girls in the ministry

Job Title: Private Music Lessons Educator

Position Summary
The Private Music Lessons Educators would teach one-on-one lessons for musical instruments or voice based on the teacher’s qualifications and the amount of interest from our ECAA families. Instruments would include (but not be limited to) piano, guitar, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, percussion, drum set, violin, cello.

Roles and Responsibilities

Position Summary
The Worship Arts Ministry Associate is involved in a wide range of support responsibilities inside the Worship Arts Ministry, including all administrative needs dealing with the preparation of music and materials needed for all rehearsals and preparation for all Sunday services and special worship events. An important aspect of this role is also to serve as an administrative assistant for the Worship Arts staff (Worship Pastor, Instrumental Director, and Contemporary Worship Director) and all associated ministries, and serve as the first face in all communication to the members of all Worship Arts Ministry Groups and the church at large. Also assists Shepherding Pastor administratively.

  • Assist with day to day needs of the Worship Arts Department
