Position Summary
The Database Administrator is responsible for Rock RMS management, staff training, and new Rock projects and initiatives. They will also be responsible for helping to troubleshoot and problem solve tech support issues on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with BEMA for support as needed
  • Implement and maintain Rock RMS projects and initiatives
  • Work with ministries to provide new features and solutions in Rock RMS
  • Train staff to effectively use Rock RMS to empower ministry
  • Design and implement dataviews, reports, dashboards, workflows, and other requested tools in Rock RMS
  • Ensure reliability and usability of check-in systems
  • Manage team of Rock Master Class-trained staff to maximize their impact
  • Maintain security of Rock RMS
  • Manage event registrations, forms, surveys, communications lists, and other Rock RMS tools
  • Provide support for check-in on Sunday Mornings and Wednesday Evenings
  • Provide Tier 1 support on Sunday Mornings and Wednesday Evenings

Job Title: Maintenance Assistant
Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Position Description
To assist the Maintenance Manager to ensure that the major electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and air systems are operating efficiently so that the ministry of the church can proceed unhindered.

Organization Status
This position reports to the Maintenance Manager.

Working Relationships
Work with the Maintenance Manager, facility personnel, pastors, teachers, and volunteers to achieve the objectives of East Cooper Baptist Church, Palmetto Christian Academy & Campus Outreach.

Roles and Responsibilities
This position will report to the Maintenance Manager and is suitable for an entry-level person who shows an aptitude for mechanical and electrical maintenance & repairs, painting, etc. The chosen candidate will be fully trained.

Position Description

  • A willingness to work hard in support of the church, school, and related ministries
  • Flexibility in working hours that sometimes includes evenings and weekends

Position Summary
As part of the East Cooper Baptist staff, the Technology Support Analyst works on a team to ensure that we are serving our staff, members, and attendees with simple, secure, and effective technologies. The Technology Support Analyst will work to support and maintain technology systems across our church and school to boost efficiency in the work environment as well as meet ministry and administrative needs.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for East Cooper Baptist Church and Palmetto Christian Academy staff
  • Able to learn new technology systems quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to work with MacOS and Windows operating systems
  • Ability to work across Google Workplace products
  • Maintain all computers and equipment using a help desk ticket management system
  • Keep inventory of end-user peripherals such as external monitors, keyboards, etc.
  • Assist in printer maintenance and installations as needed
  • Foster an attitude that reflects the values of East Cooper Baptist Church
  • Be part of the technology team to make sure ministries are supported through programs and events, such as Sunday morning child check-in
  • Work alongside the Technology Manager to help implement new technology

Job Title: Nursery Caregivers
Status: Part-time Hourly

The ECBC Nursery Department desires to hire Nursery Caregivers to help with various day and evening ministry events. Workers must be at least 15 years of age and must provide previous experience caring for children. The Nursery Department will train each new Caregiver hired. The Nursery Caregiver is to provide care for the overall needs of each child in their classroom. The Nursery Care Giver is an hourly paid position. Adults $10.00 per hour and Teens $8.00 per hour. Job Title: Food Services Manager
Status: Full-time position for the 2021-22 school year

Position Summary
Palmetto Christian Academy is seeking a Chef-Manager to lead the Food Service program at our school. Our Chef-Manager will lead a staff of part-time and volunteer staff members in providing the highest level of service and food quality. The preferred candidate will possess at least an Associates’ Degree or equivalent educational experience in one of the following areas: food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a related field, as well as 3 years of previous experience working in a cafeteria setting.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Ensuring USDA regulations are followed
  • Ensuring that all meals are correctly prepared and are within acceptable time limits; verifying that all meals meet quality standards
  • Managing the ordering, receiving, storing, and inventory control of all perishable products following specific procedures and standards
  • Controlling waste and effectively managing cost and performance to budget.
  • Maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe kitchen environment; establishing monthly food and labor cost goals; conducting cost control analysis
  • Following standardized recipes, writing menus, and monitoring product and menu costs

The candidate for this position must demonstrate a strong, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a passion for cooking, a love for children, and the ability to motivate a team to provide an excellent school lunch program for over 600 K-12 students.
