Global missions has been at the heart of East Cooper Baptist Church since the beginning. From hosting the first Global Impact Conference in 1994 to the increasing Lottie Moon goals over the last 30 years, we have seen the Lord grow the people of East Cooper in their desire to make the gospel known to all peoples. 

Currently, East Cooper partners with 38 people around the world taking the gospel to unreached places. Church members prayerfully and financially support these missionaries through the Global Impact Fund and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Along with this support, many members have participated in short term trips to visit and encourage these partners throughout the years.. 

As leadership considered the new vision of East Cooper a few years ago, missions continued to be at the forefront. In 2020, we set a goal to send 500 members on short term trips and 10 family units overseas long term. We are excited to continue asking God to raise up laborers within our own church family and to grow us in our love for people around the world.
