Michael is from Mount Pleasant, SC. Although he grew up attending church regularly, Michael struggled to understand the purpose of church. While dating his future wife, a friend challenged them to consider the purpose of their relationship and lives. Through these conversations, Michael finally understood that the purpose of his relationship, church, and all of life was to grow in relationship with Jesus and made the decision to surrender his life to Him. He joined the ECBC staff in 2021. Michael is married to Emily and they have a daughter, Maggie. He enjoys spending time with his family and watching his daughter grow.
